Premier Cup Champions

Glens BU add the Davisons Premier Cup to their mounting silverware collection.

Glentoran/BU senior team secured the NIWFA Premier  Cup at Solitude on Monday 26th September to complete the League and Cup double emulating the Reserves who had secured the Reserve ‘double’ earlier this month.

In a close contest against Mid Ulster the game was settled in extra time with goals from Gail Macklin and Catherine O’Hagan either side of the break.

GBU return to Solitude this Friday to face Crusaders in the IFA Cup final with a ko at 7.30. Show your support for the girls by being there.

Irish FA Cup Final

GlensBU weren’t able to finish off their magnificent season as they failed to win the IFA Cup at a rain sodden Solitude on Friday 30th September.

It was the 1st defeat for any team at the Club this season and the 1st time the IFA Cup has not come back to the East since 2005.
Nevertheless a trophy laden season for all at GlensBU and they can look forward to playing in Europe next year as champions of NI.
